¡Dale la vuelta a tu clase! (Flipped Classroom)

Finding life on Mars: The rovers.
Hello everyone!
Today's post is devoted to share the project we are doing in Year 6 due to our Cultural Week, which is going to be about "The Universe".
The second period has been in charged of topics connected to the Space Race and all the scientific discoveries and advances that have allowed us to discover more about celestial bodies.
Therefore, I decided to focus my students' attention on the different robots that have been sent to Mars throughout the years: Sojourner, Spirit and Opportunity, Curiosity and Mars 2020.
The first thing I did was adapting the information I got from this web to my students' level, creating the following worksheet:
Then, children had to read the texts and pull out some information about the different Rovers, completing a worksheet with different graphic organizers:
Finally, students had to transfer the information gathered in the graphic organizers into some mini-books designed by themselves, being used later on to create a lapbook.
I will update this post with the photos of the final result as soon as they finish.
What do you think of the project?

A science lesson: Mixtures and pure substances.
Today, we've been working on pure substances and mixtures and separating methods with my year 6 students in the Science lesson.
We've started the class by presenting a Power Point to explain these contents.

Pure substances and mixtures from Irene Riquelme Gil
During the presentation, we watched a video to make clear what distillation is, since it's a complex process for students at this age:
Finally, we did a diagram on the notebook to summarize the whole lesson.
That's all for today!
I hope you find these resources useful.

Welcome!
Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog!
My name is Irene and I'm a Primary English teacher in Murcia.
I love creating new materials for my students, as I always find those on the Internet a bit incomplete or unable to be implemented to what I really want to do in my lessons.
Therefore, I have decided to open this space for sharing all the things we do at school day by day. I will be extremely happy if you find anything useful for your students and I would like you to tell me in the comments!
Apart from this blog, I also have a webpage full of materials for English and Science. If you click on this link, you'll be sent to that page:
